Work advancing on updates to Mental Health Act

Work is advancing as Barbados updates its Mental Health Act. Chairman of the National Mental Health Commission, Dr. Maisha Emmanuel provided the update as Barbados joined with the globe in observing World Mental Health Day. She revealed on Mornin' Barbados that the island is revamping its entire approach towards mental health. Dr. Emmanuel provided some insight into the new Act which focuses on individual autonomy and the next of kin.
