WORK TO FIX BROKEN CHOISEUL FISHERIES POND TO BEGIN IN FEBRUARY

After years of delays, renovations to the troubled Choiseul fisheries pond are finally slated to begin next month, bringing hope of improved access and conditions for local fishermen who have long awaited repairs. The $22.9 million project, funded by a Japanese government grant secured in November 2022 by the Pierre SLP government, aims to address issues like sedimentation that have plagued the pond since it opened in 2002.
