The competition took place over waters between Dubai Harbour and Skydive Dubai, allowing for higher speeds and enhanced safety. The suits are powered by a 1,500-horsepower engine and can reach speeds of 128km/h (80mph). The jet suit, complete with fuel, weighs 35 kilograms, with each arm carrying 6.5 kilograms. Kalfon, 22, won the race and hoisted a golden jet turbine.
