Israeli government spokesman Elyon Levi on Wednesday (December 20) welcomed the coalition of ten navies that was formed to repel the Houthi threats. In a video conference briefing Levi said: "This is a threat not just to Israel but to global maritime trade, the peace and security of international maritime routes," and that Israel will address these threats without further elaborating.
