“World is going a little crazy”: Trump says as Macron welcomes him to Paris

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and French President Emmanuel Macron met for a trilateral meeting in Paris on Saturday, ahead of a re-opening ceremony for Notre-Dame cathedral. It was Trump's first trip overseas since he won the presidential election a month ago, marking his return to the world stage — still as a private citizen, but with a number of international crises awaiting his incoming administration. In past remarks, Trump has said that European nations need to pay more for their common defence and that a negotiated settlement is needed to end the Ukraine war.
