Following extended talks at the COP29 climate summit that concluded over the past weekend, developed nations pledged to increase climate funding for developing countries to at least US$300 billion annually by 2035. The deal, however, has been criticised by its intended recipients as woefully inadequate. Paul Bledsoe, a former White House climate advisor, shares his thoughts on the agreement with CNA’s Asia First.
