World TB Day | Inching towards eradication of TB

World TB Day was observed across the globe today, with calls made to redouble efforts to eradicate the disease. The US government plays a significant role in providing funds towards the fight against TB, and has signed a new partnership with our national health department. US AID has pledged just over R1-billion towards programmes in Gauteng, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Courtesy #DStv403
