Courier Mail Columnist and Sky News Contributor Des Houghton warns Australia’s methamphetamines problem is “worse than a lot of people think.” Mr Houghton’s comments follow the report new figures suggest Australia is losing the war against methamphetamines. “The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission says Australians consume $10.5 billion worth of meth in one year,” he said. “I don’t think the community at any level has got its head round the wreckage this is causing. “There’s terrible violence, criminal violence of people getting shot and wounded every day.” Warning – this video contains distressing content.
