WTO called on to assist SIDS with global trade

Barbados wants the World Trade Organisation to assist small island developing states (SIDS) to become more active players in global trade. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Kerrie Symmonds says capacity has been a bugbear for SIDS since the early 2000's. He was a panellist for the opening of the 9th Global Review of Aid for Trade 2024, organised by the WTO.
