“Yes, she can": Obama references his own 2008 presidential run in DNC speech supporting Harris

Speaking at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Tuesday, former U.S. President Barack Obama threw his support behind Kamala Harris just hours after she was officially made the party’s presidential nominee. “This convention has always been pretty good to kids with funny names who believe in a country where anything is possible,” he said, referencing his 2004 debut at the DNC. He would run for the presidency four years later.
