You can assist women, children in shelters

Women in abusive relationships are being encouraged to seek assistance. This is the message from the Business and Professional Women's Club, National Organisation of Women and Men Empowerment Network Support. They united for a motorcade against gender-based violence. Public Relations Officer of the Business and Professional Women's Club, Marianne Burnham, says the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence from November 25 to December 10 is an ideal time to let women know there is support for them. President of the National Organisation of Women, Melissa Savoury-Gittens, is asking those who can, to help with the Christmas party for clients at the shelter for women.
