Young Edmonton woman developing 3D printer for space, working for NASA
At 21 years old, Madison Feehan has already worked for NASA for half a decade and that's just scratching the surface. “Going into space exploration and space science was not something I would have predicted for my career,” she said. Feehan is also the CEO and founder of Space Copy. The company builds 3D printers that can create scalable infrastructure in extreme environments, like on Earth and in space. As Jasmine King explains, the company plans to send a 3D printer to the moon's surface coinciding with the upcoming Artemis mission by 2031.
