Younger people in Singapore more accepting of singlehood but still desire to settle down: IPS poll
More than seven in 10 young Singaporeans in their 20s to early 30s see being single, unmarried and childless as more acceptable these days. Yet, personal aspirations to be parents remain strong. These findings are based on the Institute of Policy Studies' first-ever survey on youth perspectives. The survey polled more than 2,300 people over two months. IPS said its findings suggest a need for policymakers to address the concerns of young people to better equip them for their future.
