Youth leaders urged to trigger change they want to see
The nation's youth are not in crisis, but Government remains concerned about the direction in which some young people are trending. Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Charles Griffith is calling on those who remain committed to the development of youth, to assist in positively impacting those at the community level. He was delivering opening remarks at this year's Youth Leadership Training Workshop. Mr. Griffith urges youth leaders to trigger the change they want to see, by reaching out to those youngsters they think may be going in a negative direction. He says the onus is on them to change the community at their level, and implores them to find a cause to rally around which the Ministry will support once the relevant proposals are submitted.
