Imports and exports between Yunnan and countries in South and Southeast Asia reached 125.78 billion yuan (about $17.49 billion) in 2023, up 41.9 percent from 88.66 billion yuan in 2015. The annual growth rate averaged 4.5 percent over the nine-year period, with the trade volume remaining above 100 billion yuan for five consecutive years.
